DEPARTMENT OF MARINE AND COASTAL SCIENCES

The Oceans play a critical role in our global climate system. Currents transport heat from the equator to the poles. Human systems that rely on the Ocean will undergo dramatic changes with increased greenhouse gas emissions.

DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY, EVOLUTION, AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Our environment is constantly changing under the threat of climate change. To comprehend these changes and how they impact the intertwining relationships between organisms and their physical environment and the parts of that environment that humans rely on.

DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

Covering the broad topics of environmental engineering, bioenvironmental engineering, and meteorology. Ongoing research connects how humans effect our natural environment with tangible, implementable technological solutions.
